Thank you for participating in our survey regarding waste collection, recycling, and composting practices. The Mount Isa City Council is undertaking a transition to introduce a second wheelie bin for recycling that will be collected fortnightly. This initiative aligns with MICC's overarching objective to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. More than two-thirds of our waste can be recycled, highlighting the importance of this effort in promoting environmental responsibility, sustainability and circular economy in the community.
