How to Submit an MDRT Speaks Proposal

Step 1: Read the MDRT Speaks Video Submission Instructions below.

Step 2: Record your 5-minute proposal video. This video proposal should be a verbal explanation of what you plan to present, including some of the specific takeaways for members. Upload the video to the cloud platform of your choice. Remember to make the video "public" or "viewable" and leave it on the cloud platform after submitting your link into the form. You will need a copy of the link only to include in this proposal form.

Step 3: Complete and submit this proposal form. If you have multiple topics you would like to propose, please complete separate forms for each individual proposal.

Complete proposals will be reviewed and speakers will be selected by the 2025 MDRT Annual Meeting Main Platform/Special Sessions Program Development Committee.

You must complete the entire form in order for your proposal to be submitted. As incomplete forms cannot be saved, you may want to print the questionnaire to draft your responses, and return later to enter them in the online form. Items marked (*) are required.

If you have questions or problems submitting your proposal, please contact:

About MDRT Speaks

Short, 3-8 minute, fast-paced presentations--by MDRT member speakers--sharing innovative and creative business concepts on the Main Platform stage.

MDRT Speaks presenters must join MDRT for 2025 and register for the 2025 Annual Meeting. MDRT does not pay an honorarium or cover the registration fee, housing, or travel expenses for member speakers.

Please note: MDRT Speaks is highly selective, and completing this proposal form does not guarantee selection. You will be notified by early February, 2025, whether your proposal has been chosen.
Video Submission Instructions
In order to be considered for MDRT Speaks, please record a brief proposal video and upload it to the cloud platform of your choice (Google, Dropbox, OneDrive, YouTube, etc.). Please record a new video rather than submitting a video from previous speaking engagements.

MDRT Speaks proposal videos do not have to be professional quality. A video recording using a home camera or smartphone will be sufficient.

The video should be no more than five minutes long and should include:

1. Introduction – The introduction should be no longer than one minute and include:
    • Your name
    • Where you live
    • Title of the proposed presentation
    • The Content Track you’ve selected (Advising Clients, Marketing, Practice Management, OR Whole Person)
2. Main takeaway benefits the attendees will receive. (Please be specific when naming your presentation's takeaways.)

3. Summary of Proposed Presentation – Keeping in mind these presentations are very short, give a short presentation summary as you would if speaking to the MDRT audience.
