Feedback Survey: Statewide Digital Marketing Campaign for NJ Libraries

Life Happens @ Your Library

During June 2023 - September 2023, the New Jersey State Library, in partnership with NJLA, LLNJ and Libraries Are Essential, ran a statewide digital marketing campaign for NJ Libraries. Libraries are much more than just simply repositories for books! Life happens at the library, and the goal of the campaign was to remind some – and introduce others – to this reality.


This survey seeks to gain feedback from libraries that were aware of, and used, the campaign.
1.How did you hear about the "Life Happens @ Your Library" statewide marketing campaign?
2.Was communication about the campaign sufficient? Did it provide the information and instruction you needed to take advantage of the marketing materials?
3.Did you visit the campaign website at www.njstatelib.org/beyondbooks?
4.Did this ready-made promotional campaign fill a need for your library? Did it provide useful assets that your library otherwise would not have had?
5.Which collateral materials did your library use?
6.Did you use these materials to run your own campaign, or did you just casually share the materials online as you came across them?
7.Does your library have any positions specific to marketing / promotion / outreach?
