Throughout this year Leitrim County Council will be writing a new Arts Plan and a new Culture & Creativity Strategy for 2023-2028, which will include a review of our current Arts Strategy and our Creative Ireland Culture & Creativity Strategy.

This survey is your opportunity to have a say in the shape and direction of our next plans for 2023 to 2028.

As part of the consultation, we want to hear about your experience of the arts in Leitrim. We also want to see what you think about the priorities of our plans, and whether there are different things we should be doing.

Under our current Arts Plan, our focus is on:
  • Community Engagement – this is how we serve the public
  • Professional Development – this is how we support artists
  • Children & Young People – this is how we make sure children can make, share, and enjoy the arts.

We also now need to make sure that our work in the coming years makes an impact on:
  • How we respond to the climate emergency, and
  • How we promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion through our work in the arts

This survey is confidential and has been designed in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation); we are not collecting any personal details (such as name, address), unless you volunteer to provide such information.

If you wish to complete this survey both as an individual (e.g., as an artist or member of the public) and as a representative of an organisation or group, please feel free to complete two surveys to ensure that both perspectives are represented. The survey is short and shouldn't take more than  10 minutes.

Leitrim County Council appreciates and thanks you for agreeing to help with this important work.
