The City of Philadelphia is developing a plan to make Lehigh Avenue (between Kensington Avenue and American Street, as shown in the map below) safer for people walking, biking, rolling, taking transit, and driving.

So far, we have completed one round of engagement that focused on asking community members for their feedback about the traffic safety challenges on Lehigh Avenue today, and about their vision for the future of Lehigh Avenue. Using that feedback, we have developed project goals and a few different design options to make the street safer and to reflect what we heard community members want to see.
