The City of Windsor is inviting Windsor based charitable/non-profit organizations to provide their expression of interest for the use Lanspeary Park in Spring/Summer 2021 to host charitable activities in support of the community.
Charitable activites could include collecting clothing items, collecting non-perishable food items, food/artisan market, community event etc.
Use of Lanspeary Park will include sole use of the covered arena and adjacent park.
Fees for use of the facility will be waived for approved organizations.

Friday, March 19, 2021 - 3pm
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATING
- Applicants must be a charitable and/or non-profit organization.*
- Applicants must be based in the City of Windsor.
- Applications will be selected based on lottery and available dates.
- Donations solicited by accepted organizations must be to support local people in need, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation.
- Applicant must be signing officer to the organization.
- Accepted organizations must only host their approved activity.
- Activities must adhere to all Regional or Provincial Health guidelines and restrictions.
- Accepted organizations are required to supply their own personnel including volunteers to support their activities.
- Accepted organizations are required to supply any materials needed to support their activities including tables, chairs, tents, etc.
- Accepted organizations will be required to sign a facility use permit.
- Accepted organizations will be required to supply a certificate of insurance at a value deemed appropriate based on the activity.
- The City of Windsor will evaluate each application and reserves the right to deny an application that does not meet the requirements.
*registered charitable organizations will be given first consideration.
