The Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons (FSPS) is jointly provided by The Aesthetic Society for their annual meeting accreditation for continuing medical education and must comply with the ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence.
Everyone in a position to control content for accredited CME programs must disclose all personal financial relationships within the past 24 months with any entity whose primary business is the production, marketing, selling, reselling, or distribution of healthcare products used on or by patients. These companies are now defined by the ACCME as “ineligible companies” and may not be accredited under the ACCME standards. This definition exempts non-profit or government organizations; non-health care related companies; liability and health insurance providers; group medical practices; and for-profit hospitals, rehabilitation centers and nursing homes. Disclose all your financial relationships with ineligible companies, regardless of whether you think they are relevant.

Bio-medical startups that have begun a governmental regulatory approval process
Device manufacturers or distributors
Diagnostic labs that sell proprietary products
Growers, distributors, manufacturers or sellers of medical foods and dietary supplements
