Library Fest Community Cookbook Zine Submission |
Submission Information and Guidelines
- What’s a zine? Zines (pronounced "zeens") are tough to define because they can be so many things! Basically, they are self-published booklets containing anything you want – the content and look are up to the creators. We are calling this project a zine because all the content will be community-created.
- What recipes should I submit? Any recipe, really. Main dishes, sides, drinks, things that defy categorization. Favorite recipes, family recipes, recipes that came from happy accidents!
- Three ways to submit your recipe within this survey:
- Attach a word document (.doc or. dox)
- Type out the recipe
- Submit a picture of the recipe (please include contact details in case we need support transcribing)
- All recipes will be published as submitted
- The cookbook will be printed under a Creative Commons License of Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International. This means the cookbook will be free to share, copy, and redistribute for non-commercial purposes as long as credit is given, and no modifications are made
- If the recipe is an adaptation, please give credit to the original recipe creator in the text
Submissions due Monday, May 9th
If you have any questions, please contact John Davis at jwdavis@dconc.gov
