Leading Women Awards 2019 - Nomination form

Introduction

Question Title

Nominations for the third edition of the Leading Women Awards are officially open!

The Awards will recognize outstanding female business leaders within WBCSD's member companies for their achievements on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through their work. It will also reward unique company initiatives that keep pushing for a more gender-balanced workplace. The Award Ceremony will be held at the WBCSD Council Member Meeting in Lisbon, Portugal in October 2019.

The Awards are sponsored by DSM, Nestlé, P&G and Sonae.

This year, nominations are accepted for the following three categories:

NextGen - Recognizing the next generation of women leaders who are advancing sustainability in their company
- Women who are inspirational role models with less than 15 years of work experience

Excellence - Recognizing women leaders for their sustained and outstanding contribution to advancing sustainability in their company
- Women who are inspirational role models with 15 or more years of experience

Breakthrough - Recognizing unique and impactful company initiatives that advance gender balance in the workplace

General eligibility requirements:

One nomination, per category, per WBCSD member company with full membership (not partners or project members)
WBCSD encourages nominations from all over the world and from departments/functions outside the core sustainability functions (incl. logistics, procurement etc.)
Liaison Delegates and Council Members can be nominated
Previous Leading Women Awards recipients cannot be nominated again

The nomination(s) should be approved by the companies' Council Member or Liaison Delegate and be submitted by 12 July 2019 (Friday midnight).
