1. Have Your Say...

If you're an unwaged Carer in Salford (18+), we’d really appreciate you completing this survey. Sometimes people may not view themselves as carers, they feel that they are helping of love or duty for their loved ones. No matter what level of caring you are doing we want to understand your experiences of being a carer in Salford; and how supported you feel by Health & Social Care support services.

The survey results will feed into the shaping of The 'Salford All Age Carers Strategy', a city-wide strategy on how to make life better for carers in Salford (2025 - 2029).

· The current strategy (2020 - 2024) aims to reflect the lived experience of carers across Salford, highlight and recognise their needs. It gives an overview of local and national information to help drive priorities forward. It is also used to ensure that all partner agencies are aware of their statutory responsibilities.

· The sharing of lived experience via the strategy has helped to shape the work supporting carers across Salford.

· As before, Salford want to place the needs, wants and aspirations of carers at the heart of the new strategy for how Health & Social Care organisations work together to support carers over the next 5 years.

The survey has multiple choice options so it’s easy to fill in, with space if you want to share any experiences, thoughts or ideas you have. It should take approximately 25 minutes to complete.

Filling in this survey is an exciting opportunity to have your caring experience heard and the results will inform the new strategy. Your voice is important, we value your time and insights and thank you in advance for your feedback.

Please note: The information you provide will be treated confidentially and Gaddum will collate and report on information anonymously. Information may also be used in evaluations, impact reports, internal and external communications and to secure funding. Data will be stored securely and handled in accordance with The DPA 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation.
