LSUHSC School-Based Health Center Youth Advisory Board Application

What: The SBHC youth advisory board seeks to create a youth-led space to inform the care and services provided, and help develop new programs and projects to integrate youth voices. The YAB will provide a space for youth to share their experiences, thoughts, and ideas as well as provide professional development, trainings, and opportunities to members.

Who: Students who have an interest in healthcare, and/or supporting their community services. You do not need to have any prior health experience.

When and Where? The YAB will be hold meetings twice a month after school from January 2022-June 2022 for an hour each. Dates will be determined based on members availability.

Extras: Food and RTA passes will be provided. All YAB members will receive a monthly stipend of $25
