Application Information - WPATH Global Education Institute (GEI) Teaching Faculty

Welcome, WPATH Members!

We are now accepting applications for qualified professionals to become Faculty members of the WPATH GEI. We are seeking experienced WPATH members who have a passion for teaching in their field of expertise. We hope to recruit members from all parts of the world to help WPATH train healthcare professionals globally. GEI Courses are offered both online and in person.

We aim to continue to develop a diverse, global faculty that spans all professions within transgender and gender diverse (TGD) healthcare and represents diversity in areas such as gender, race/ethnicity/First Nation, ability, and more. (This goal is also reflected within the composition of the Faculty Development Committee itself.)

Familiarity with WPATH GEI courses will be helpful for GEI faculty members, but it is not required in advance of applying. If you have substantial experience within TGD healthcare and feel motivated to become a faculty member with the WPATH GEI, we are eager to receive your application!

The deadline to submit your faculty application is Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 11:59pm EST (GMT-5).

After the deadline, we will review all the applications received. Our current plan is to send out calls for applications at least once per year, and keep applications on file when inviting faculty for specific GEI courses and events.

Thank you for considering applying to become a WPATH GEI Faculty member and contributing to healthcare training for professionals working with the TGD Community!
