Welcome to the 2020 North Carolina Recycling Business Employment Survey

Thank you for participating in the NC Recycling Business Assistance Center’s 2020 NC Recycling Business Employment Survey. Your participation will help us measure and communicate the importance of recycling in the state’s economy and build on data collected in similar studies we conducted in 1994, 2000, 2002, 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2015.
We are contacting every business in the state that is involved in recycling and asking for information on the type of recycling functions your company performs, the number of employees dedicated to recycling, and recycling material tonnages handled, processed or used in manufacturing.
Your participation is voluntary and all answers will be confidential and aggregated as summaries in which no individual’s answers can be identified. We anticipate the 2020 study will be released the summer. We look forward to sharing the results with you and the public.
