POLICE SERVICES
Currently, Fort Myers Beach contracts with Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) for police officers. Fort Myers Beach is investigating the option to establish a Community Policing program for the Island.

A Community Policing Contract would consist of dedicated officers whose sole responsibility would be to patrol and work with island residents to create trust with the community and ultimately, stop crime.
