Hillsborough County Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) Public Survey

The survey should take around 5-10 minutes to complete and covers how you experience hazards and what you think Hillsborough County should do to increase community resilience.

Your input is extremely valuable to our planning process for the 2025 Hillsborough County Local Mitigation Strategy update, and we appreciate you taking the time to fill out the survey.

A Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) identifies natural (e.g., flood, tropical cyclone, extreme heat) and technological (e.g., terrorism, transportation incidents, disease outbreak) hazards and assesses the risks and vulnerabilities local jurisdictions may have. Actions will be identified to reduce losses from these hazards and a plan will be produced for implementation with input from stakeholders including yourselves.
