Introduction

GEOTRACES is an international project that is creating a detailed baseline of the global distribution of trace elements and isotopes in the ocean. GEOTRACES released its second Intermediate Data Product at the Goldschmidt meeting in August 2017 in Paris, France. The purpose of this survey is to assess the processes used for this second release in order to improve the processes used in the next release, expected in 2021. The survey should only take about 5 minutes to complete.
