LGBTQ+ SURVEY

This survey is open to BOTH LGBTQ+ AND NON-LGBTQ+ INDIANS of ALL AGES.

It is anonymous and the information collected will be used for research purposes only. No personal information is collected apart from an optional question that asks for your email address (which will be kept confidential) if you wish to participate further in an interview. Some of the questions in this survey are of a sensitive nature. Participation is completely voluntary. Feel free to stop answering questions at any point.

If possible, please share this survey with your friends, colleagues, etc. to help us reach a wider audience and ensure the representativeness of the data collected.

The purpose of this study is to collect information on the systemic discrimination faced by the LGBTQ+ community which can be used by policymakers, organisations, and ordinary people for introducing policies and programmes in accordance with the response provided by the community.

This study is conducted by The Last Straw, a youth-led climate justice organisation, and has been drafted by queer people and allies. The results would be made publically available on our website: thisisthelaststraw.org
