Let's Go Birding Together! Scholarship 2025 |
Scholarship Information
Description
This year, we are awarding special scholarships for our new Let's Go Birding Together! session at Hog Island. This session runs from September 14-19, 2025.
Come join us for a week of birding at the peak of fall migration on the coast of Maine surrounded by a safe and supportive community of fellow queer birders. You can read a full program description on our website.
These scholarships are meant to assist folks who have a genuine financial need and interest in camp. Scholarship applications will be reviewed by our committee and awarded on a sliding scale based on need. Most scholarships are for $500. You can read more about our scholarships on our website.
Eligibility:
Everyone with financial need and interest is eligible to apply!
Instructions:
- Contact the Hog Island team at hogisland.audubon.org to register for the camp session and pay the $100 deposit to hold your spot. You do not need to complete the rest of the registration forms or pay the full tuition until you receive notice from us about your scholarship. We require you to secure a spot in advance to make sure the session does not fill while we are evaluating applications. If you are not awarded a scholarship, your deposit will be refunded.
