In the five years up to 2021, 18 children drowned in Ireland. At that time, Water Safety Ireland posted a "Hold Hands" resource pack to every Early Learning Centre in the country. The resource pack contains six vibrant storyboards which highlight water safety dangers at home, on farms, on the beach, at rivers, lakes and on holiday. The tips in the pack are designed to give the children in your care all the advice they need to stay safe around water. A digital version can also be seen at www.holdhands.ie
