Calgary Park Survey |
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey for Calgary Park in Brooklyn Centre! Because this is a public site, it is important to make sure that the public's voice is included and that the assets as well as the needs of the community are integrated into the park design.
Background:
Calgary Park was built by the Parks and Recreations department of the City of Cleveland in 1944. Since then the site has hosted programming including musical and dance performances. In October of 2022 the City released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit interested parties in re-envisioning the site and leading its redevelopment.
Since then the city has contracted with MKSK Studios to lead the redevelopment work and has allocated funding for a community facilitation process to explore a community vision for the park and to prioritize unmet needs. The findings of this facilitation and engagement process will be integrated into the final park design proposed by MKSK Studios.
