Would you like to help local children and young people improve their study skills, build their confidence and raise their aspirations about further and higher education?

Homework Clubs is a perfect opportunity for you to make a positive change in your local community, get involved in something rewarding and gain hands-on experience for your personal and professional development.

Homework Clubs is open to all registered Queen's University Students. No previous experience is required, we just ask that you:
-Have an interest in supporting children/young people.
-Are patient, reliable, committed and open-minded.
-Have good communication skills and can confidently engage in conversation with children/young people.

This application must be completed in one sitting (you cannot save it and return to it at a later date), so please ensure you have time to fully complete it now.

There are 3 sections to complete:

1. Tell us about yourself
Your name, contact details, course of study etc.

2. Homework Clubs and your availability
You will be shown a list of days and times of various Homework Clubs based at different locations. Please indicate the specific clubs, days and time slots which suit your availability and location.

3. Your experience
Please tell us in 150 words (approx.):
- Why you want to volunteer with Homework Clubs and what experience, skills, interests or subject areas you have that will help you in the role?
