Exit The Future of Community Land in Kinnaird and The Inches - Community Survey Better use of Land – New Possibilities for Our CommunityThere are two important parcels of land in our community, both owned by the NHS. From the school to the local church, there has been a range of interests in this land, and local people have given their views already (both online and in a face to face consultation), but so far no viable plan has been set out. In response to this opportunity, Kinnaird Village and The Inches Residents Association (KVTIRA) has secured funding from the Scottish Land Fund to explore the possibility of buying the land and finding a viable future for it. We want to build on the discussions the community has already had to find a practical way forward this time. The two parcels of land can be seen in the map and can have quite different uses. Land B near the shops is more likely to be landscaped and made to be accessible for everyone. Land A is bigger and near the school and might have more opportunities for productive use such as a community cafe, workshops or a community facility in the future. Some early ideas for the land can be seen on our website. This is your opportunity to let us know what you think about taking the land into community control and to help us plan in more detail what should be done with each piece of land that will be of use to the community but also financially viable. Your input will be used to guide our thinking and influence the development of the sites (one or both) to make sure it is of genuine community benefit. Please take the time to make sure that your voice is heard. You can complete the survey online here, or paper copies of the survey can be provided. Community Enterprise, who specialise in community assets, will be helping us to develop our plans. If you would like any further information or would like a paper copy of the survey, please contact Douglas by emailing douglas@communityenterprise.co.uk.All information gathered will be confidential. All survey responses (including those collected on paper) are recorded on Survey Monkey: see SurveyMonkey's Privacy Policy and Community Enterprise's privacy policy.
