Fall 2024 - Med Student/Research Fellow/Non-TX Residents - TDS Podium Abstract Competition Application

Podium Competition:

Prizes for Texas Dermatology Resident Members will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

REMINDER: Only Texas Dermatology Residents are eligible to win the three main awards. Medical Students & Research Fellows are welcome to participate!

If slots are not completely filled by TDS Resident Members, the TDS board will select up to three medical student podium submissions to present in-person at this year's meeting. The remaining submissions will be presented virtually. If there is not space allowed for in-person medical student podiums, all podiums will be eligible for virtual presentations.

Because of the selection process, all MEDICAL STUDENT podium abstract submissions will be due no later than August 30th to allow time for the committee to make their selection and notify the participants.

Medical Student/Research Fellow Abstract Due: August 30th

Abstract Paragraph:

All presenters must submit a PDF abstract that is typewritten, double-spaced, one page with 12 point Times New Roman font for the abstract booklet.
This abstract does not have to include sources. If the sources fit within the one page limit, then they can be added.
The paragraph needs to be emailed to laura.madole@texasdermatology.org by August 30th.

*You can ONLY submit ONE abstract for a poster & ONE abstract for a podium. Topics HAVE to be completely different for the poster & the podium.
