Coconut Creek Stakeholder Survey
The City of Coconut Creek and the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization are conducting a study to develop a mobility hub in the MainStreet area. A mobility hub is a place of connectivity where different modes of transportation – from walking, buses, trains, scooters and bikes – come together seamlessly and where there is an intensive concentration of working, living, shopping and/or playing. MainStreet is a vision for a mixed-use, downtown development in the center of Coconut Creek, bound by Wiles Road to the north, Lyons Road to the east, Sample Road to the south, and State Road 7 to the west. Today, the area is already a regional destination, home to the Seminole Casino and The Promenade. This exploratory study will consider ways to address transportation needs to and around the area, resulting in infrastructure recommendations that can be built immediately or constructed as new development occurs.
We invite you to get involved in the study by sharing your feedback about what makes you feel comfortable walking and biking, how you travel to and from the area today, and what you would like to see in the future.
