JACIE QM Committee & GoCART hospital survey: CAR-T process
Section A - General Information
Dear Colleagues,
The GoCART Coalition and JACIE Quality Managers Committee have developed a survey to explore the challenges hospitals face when working with stakeholders on ATMPs and JACIE standards. We aim to identify overlapping standards, best practices, and areas for improvement, with a focus on optimizing bedside time. We welcome constructive feedback to enhance the "Cell Journey" and improve efficiency.
Why This Matters
Since the introduction of CAR-T therapies, hospitals have shared concerns about the increasing rules and regulations. This survey is an opportunity to gather feedback and better understand the situation, which will help us improve the process.
Your comments are highly valuable, so please don’t hesitate to comment whether your feedback is positive/best practices or indicating areas for improvement. Responses will remain anonymous in the results. We will not specifically mention differences between manufacturers' products. Our aim is to improve, not pinpoint.
Practical Information
We invite CAR-T teams at hospitals to complete the survey. We ask that each relevant team member completes the survey, where for example the Quality Manager can compile and submit responses. If external parties are involved (e.g., Apheresis, Lab), please forward the appropriate questions to them. We are using Survey Monkey for efficient data collection. There’s ample space for comments on each question and for general feedback at the end.
Instructions
- Please complete the survey by 31JANUARY 2025 - Comments are crucial—please provide feedback on both areas for improvement and best practices.
- The estimated time to complete the survey is approximately 10 minutes. If needed, your progress will be saved, and you can return later to finish or edit your responses.
We will present the results from the survey at the Quality Management Day at the Annual Meeting of the EBMT in Florence, April 1, 2025.
The GoCART Coalition and the Quality Management Committee would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to answer these questions, and we hope to see you in Florence to discuss the results!
