Youth Beach State Team Coach Application
Thank you for your interest in the Victorian State Beach Program.
This Expression of Interest is for a coaching position in the program as whole, this survey will ask for your preferences and they will be taken into consideration by the selection panel when offering positions, however top preferences are not guaranteed.
This application is for the Youth (U14-U18) beach volleyball program.
The Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships (AYBVC) are held in Coolangatta, QLD, March 17-20, 2024.
Youth trials will likely run over Sundays in Oct & Nov at both South Melbourne Beach and the State Volleyball Centre, Dandenong.
Training will be held on Saturdays and/or Sundays every week through to AYBVC.
Squads will be selected from the trialing athletes, squads will then train together for a number of sessions before teams and Shadow athletes are selected.
All appointed coaches will meet with the High Performance Manager via video meeting prior to trials.
Head Coach applications close 5pm Friday September 29.
Assistant Coach applications close 5pm Friday October 27.
Notes
- All State Team Appointed Coaches are required to hold a minimum Level 2 Coaching Accreditation or be willing to obtain it prior to the championships.
- All State Team Appointed Coaches are required attend all trial sessions.
- All State Team Appointed Coaches are required hold a current Working With Children’s Check.
- All State Team Appointed Coaches may be required to complete additional training such as Child Safety.
-Coaches will be appointed to genders and age groups AFTER trials have been completed.
