The College is seeking expressions of interest for individuals or teams to run innovative, engaging workshop sessions at the upcoming Australasian College of Paramedicine Research Symposium at the Australian Catholic University, Brisbane. We are seeking facilitators that:

- Have experience in conducting, writing or presenting research
- Have an interest in mentoring students and novice researchers
- Enjoy running workshops that actively engage learners

The aim of the workshops is to allow attendees to develop their understanding of research skills and to practice research skills during the session.

Examples of workshops might include:
Examples of workshops might include:
- Appraising current research
- Synthesising datasets
- Presenting evidence (infographics, posters)
- Understanding and applying common quantitative research methodologies
- Understanding and applying common qualitative research methodologies
- Alternative methodologies
- How to write a research protocol
- How to write a grant

Whatever the topic, the idea is to engage students interested in learning more about research in a fun and positive way.

Workshops will run for 2 hours.

Each accepted workshop will be given one complimentary ticket to attend the Research Symposium, offering valuable insights and networking opportunities. Additionally, to alleviate the financial burden of travel, workshop hosts from out of state will receive up to $300.00 AUD in support. This financial incentive aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration by ensuring that hosts can easily make their way to Brisbane, enhancing the overall experience for both the hosts and the participants (more information regarding this will be sent upon acceptance).
