Thank you for taking part in this survey. It will take around 5 minutes to complete, and taking part is voluntary.

Who are we?

We are Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse (STADA). We provide support and advice to organisations to identify and respond effectively to domestic abuse to ensure survivors receive the best possible support to live free from abuse. These agencies include the police, criminal justice partners, housing associations, local authorities, social services, healthcare workers, faith communities and charities.

What is the aim of this survey?

We want to hear the voice and experience of survivors who have, or are still experiencing, any form of Domestic Abuse as a tenant in private rented accommodation within the last 24 months.

This will help inform a survivor-led accreditation pilot for Private Sector Landlords & Letting Agents to correctly and appropriately respond to potential incidents of Domestic Abuse in three ways;

  1. Recognise - What Domestic Abuse is, the signs that you may see and the manipulation techniques used by perpetrators
  2. Respond - How to safely and appropriately respond to potential cases of Domestic Abuse identified
  3. Refer - Provide tenants with information regarding Domestic Abuse and details of specialist support services available

What will we do with the information you share?

Your answers may be used by STADA and DAHA (Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance) to inform the continued development of the PRS Pilot Accreditation and to identify any issues there may be with the scheme. Your responses will be treated confidentially and you will never be identifiable when we report on the results of this survey. Your comments may also be used in the form of anonymous quotes in reports and publicity.
