Thank you for your interest in applying for the King County Metro's Youth Transit Summer Internship. This program is an opportunity for individuals ages 15–18 to learn and create collaboratively on public transit projects related to sustainability, planning, and other topics. The program will involve field trips, skill-building workshops, student projects, and a collaborative art piece.

Please take your time filling out the open-ended questions so we can fully understand your interest in this program. Students selected to participate will have a demonstrated interest in topics related to community, leadership, transportation, sustainability, or other relevant subject areas.

Students who live, work, study, and/or play in the Skyway, Renton, and/or Tukwila areas are highly encouraged to apply.

Commitment: Participants must be available Monday–Friday, 9am to 3pm, July 14 through August 1.
Location: Downtown Renton (exact details will be provided to participants)
Compensation: Participants will be compensated $21 an hour.
