Proposed Projects in the Neighborhood

Below are four projects that have been proposed for our neighborhood. If the NIP Committee were to approve funding for them, what would your priorities be? Please indicate your priorities for each (i.e. First, Second, Third or Fourth Choice).

Question Title

* 1. Beach Way Retaining Wall Repair - Replace existing and missing wood retaining "wall" timbers near the toilets at the end of Beach Way (not including the section in front of the house house) with new 6" x 8" timbers. Cost: $6,000

Question Title

* 2. Beach Way Parking Lot Stairs - enhance access to the beach from the end of the Beach Way parking lot by building stairs down to the beach (next to the storm drain outflow).  Stairs will eliminate the problem of cut feet caused by granite coming up through sand.  Cost: $103,000

Question Title

* 3. Replace Beach Boardwalk - join two existing path ends and extend the boardwalk the remaining 50 ft to the beach on the path to the west side of the Beach Way parking lot.  Cost: $20,000

Question Title

* 4. Del Monte Beach Entrance Sign - install a "Del Monte Beach Neighborhood" entrance sign at the bottom of Roberts Way (near/above the existing retaining walls).   Cost: $3,000
