CJN seminar Krakow, 29-31 October, 2017 |
1. Introduction
Dear teachers of European and Israeli Jewish schools,
We are pleased to announce the 6th professional development seminar of the Centropa Jewish Network, taking place between 29-31 October in Krakow, Poland.
During the seminar, 40 teachers from European and Israeli Jewish schools will come together to talk about the challenges they face in education and build projects that cross borders. We will introduce you Centropa's database and educational program, learn about Jewish Krakow, and prepare for the 2017/18 school year with new project ideas. We welcome both our “veteran teachers” and those who are new to our network. The detailed program of the seminar will be announced soon.
We will pay the hotel, seminar lunches and snacks for the participants. We ask all applicants to cover their travel expenses themselves, or through their school. If you or your school is not able to cover all or part of your travel expenses, please contact us as soon and possible. We do have some funds available to reimburse travel costs for those who most need it.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
Thanks very much, and we hope to hear from you soon!
