WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
WHAT ARE THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT NEEDS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD?
The County of Orange receives approximately $4 million in federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) each year for housing and community development projects in the following jurisdictions:

County Unincorporated Areas
Laguna Beach, Placentia, Laguna Hills, Seal Beach, Brea, Laguna Woods, Stanton, Cypress, La Palma, Yorba Linda, San Juan Capistrano, Villa Park, Dana Point, Los Alamitos

The annual grants can be used to provide decent housing, suitable living environments, and expanded economic opportunities, for low and moderate income persons. The County wants you to have a voice in how it invests this money.

The County uses national and performance outcomes as well as input from the community and different groups to assign funding priorities that best bridge the gaps in the County’s service delivery system. Please assist us by filling out this survey by December 31, 2024.

As you complete the survey, please consider the following: 1) The needs of your neighborhood; and 2) how they can be improved. Keep in mind that available funding is limited and prioritizing your responses is of great importance.
