Community Survey for the Recreational Trails Program Grant

The City of Choctaw is applying for a Recreational Trails Program grant from the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department to extend the trail system at 10 Acre Lake Park. The proposed extension could either expand into Bouse Park or continue around the lake. This grant allows for a maximum project cost of $375,000, with $300,000 funded by the grant and a required $75,000 match from the Parks Budget. The planned trail expansion will be ADA compliant with an 8-foot-wide paved surface.
