TMISD ESSER II/III Funding Survey

TMISD will be submitting an application for ESSER II and ESSER III funding, in the amount of $5,663,691 and $2,521,838, respectively. The purpose of these funds is to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on students.

As required by ESSER grant guidelines, Tuloso-Midway ISD is seeking stakeholder input to prepare to address the following needs of students and staff:

The academic impact of lost instructional opportunities.
The district's response to the academic, social, emotional and mental health needs of students due to impact of COVID-19.
The district's response to the academic, social, emotional and mental health needs of students disproportionately impacted by COVID-19, including students from low-income families, students of color, English learners, children with disabilities, students experiencing homelessness, children in foster care and migratory students.
Mitigating safety measures for safe operations of schools for in-person learning.

TMISD community feedback in these areas is vital to planning and preparation purposes, as the district strives to meet the needs of its learning community.
