Daylight Savings - Ditch the Switch?
Earlier this year, Washington state passed legislation to remain on Daylight Savings Time permanently, in other words to "spring ahead" an hour in the spring, stay there, and not "fall behind" an hour in the fall, thus not having to change the clocks twice a year anymore. Several other states, including California and Oregon, have passed similar legislation. Approval from Congress at the federal level is still required before the states can adopt the change.
