Democracy at Work Institute and the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives seek your input.
We launched the School for Democratic Management in 2018 to help strengthen democratic management and ownership culture in worker-owned, worker-run businesses. Over the past two years, we have covered personnel, governance, finances and more through various webinars, crash courses, and a management certificate program. To do so, we partnered with peer managers and consultants to share their ownership-culture expertise.
We are excited to design future programs that combine effective practices of thriving worker cooperatives, our deep library of resources, and other management expertise that we think can be adapted and applied in our workplaces. But we need your help to do so!
