Dual Language Oversight Committee Interest Survey

Being that our 2021-2024 Wapato Public Schools Equitable Continuous Growth Plan includes the academic goal of building a dual language program and that our legislature adopted SHB 1445 which recognizes and establishes the means to improve how we address language development by expanding dual language through grant opportunities, we are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant and are preparing to begin this work.

Would you like to be a part of building this program?

This committee will meet at least monthly to attain the goal of exploring, learning, and making decisions for language development as required for students learning English. Once the work of this committee is complete, it will become the advisory board for continuous language improvement.

**Please note that as we develop a well-rounded committee, there is potential that not all applicants will be utilized.
