Job Seeker Preferences Research

You have been asked to participate in a study that is part of a research project entitled: Job Seeker Preferences Research. This consent agreement explains the research study. Please read it carefully.

This study is being conducted by the Advertising Developers team for the National Student Advertising Competition under the guidance of supervisor Doug Tschopp. If you have any questions, please contact either of the Advertising Developers club presidents, Chi Vu chivu19@augustana.edu, or Jeremy Brown jeremybrown19@augustana.edu. The purpose of this survey is to gather information regarding participants’ current state of employment, as well as how participants engage with the job-search process.  The data will help the team to understand the habits of our target market. 

If you choose to participate, you will be directed to a survey that will collect your responses. It will take about 15 minutes to complete. Participation in the survey is greatly appreciated, as it helps our team learn about research and marketing through hands-on experience. 

The data collected through this survey will be used for presentation at the National Student Advertising Competition. This will benefit the students by developing their professional research skills. This survey is confidential and anonymous. The data will then be retained for five years after completion of the research, but will not be used for further research studies. Anonymous data will be shared with an unnamed client. The study will not ask sensitive questions or put the participant at risk. This research project has been reviewed and approved by the Augustana Institutional Review Board, which can be contacted at IRB@augustana.edu.
