The Greely High School Football program is at a crossroads and in order to help us make decisions, we need your input.
With our low numbers at the high school level, we are investigating options for the 2019 season. These are our options:
11 Man Football at Greely: We need 36 student-athletes to fully participate in 11 man football at our current classification. Our roster now projects to be less than 10. This survey is critical to help us determine if 11 man is an option for us as a stand-alone program.
8 Man Football at Greely: We need 20 players to support offering this program. The MPA (Maine Principal’s Association) is generating a new Class which will include schools who will participate in an 8-Man football format. There is always the option to return to 11 Man football if interest and participation numbers warrant doing so.
11 Man Football at Falmouth: We would form a cooperative program with Falmouth. Practices and games would be at Falmouth. This may also provide JV playing opportunities as well.
Considering these options, we NEED your opinion. Please only fill out this survey if you have interest in playing football next fall (2019).
