Kāpiti District Speed Limit Review – Stage 2 (2018-19)
Have Your Say on the proposed Kāpiti District Speed Limit Review
Have your say on proposed changes to speed limits in Stage 2 of the district-wide review of Kāpiti roads. Submissions may be made by individuals, or on behalf of groups and organisations. This consultation follows on from the Stage 1 review completed in August 2018. Stage 2 has identified a further 62 roads (including the remaining 47 rural roads and three village centres - Paekākāriki, Raumati South and Raumati Beach). The review excludes the Kāpiti Expressway and old SH1 roads as the speed limits on those roads are set by New Zealand Transport Authority (NZTA).
To help you with your submission there are expandable maps of each of these 14 areas on the Council’s website and answers to questions you may have about reasons for changing speed limits. The maps are also within this submission form.
This submission form allows you to comment on any of the roads under consideration, or any of the individual road parts as shown in the accompanying maps. You do not need to comment on every proposal and may only wish to make a submission on a specific road or area that concerns you.
This Survey Monkey online submission process is open from: Monday 18th February and closes at 5pm on Monday 18th March 2019
