2021/22 has been a whopper year for wallabies on the south coast! We've recorded 35 adults and tons of joeys at our Kangaroo Valley colony of endangered brush-tailed rock-wallabies. The Saving our Species crew have kept a close eye on the wallabies using remote cameras, and can tell every single wallaby apart using their unique facial patterns.
However, adding 20 new joeys into the mix has made things a bit confusing - while all the adult wallabies already have names, these fresh faces are completely name-less! So we're turning to the community for help and little bit of creativity in naming the joeys.
