INTRO
This survey is promoted by KRAKEN (broKeRage And marKEt platform for persoNal data), a Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action which aims at advancing personal data sharing and trading by developing a secure data marketplace, leveraging existing cloud-based personal data platforms (CREDENTIAL, MHMD, Streamr), end-to-end encryption technologies and proxy cryptography designs to ensure full data control, privacy and self-sovereignty of personal data. The project is coordinated by Atos Spain and involves 10 EU partners for a duration of 3 years (1 December 2019 - 30 November 2022). For more info, please visit https://www.krakenh2020.eu.
The survey is meant to investigate modalities, needs, challenges and expectations of stakeholders currently involved in the acquisition, sharing and monetisation of health and wellbeing data, or potentially interested of trading data in the future. This includes persons employed by data producer/consumer organisations, in the EU and beyond, such as hospitals and clinical centres, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, AI and ML providers, data brokers, device manufacturers, app providers, patient associations, national authorities, government agencies and beyond. Survey results will drive the design and implementation of the personal data marketplace planned in KRAKEN.

The survey includes 38 multiple-choice questions and will take about 15 minutes of your time. At the end, you will also be given the possibility, if interested, to stay in touch with the project to be involved (as data vendor, data user, or both) in the future data marketplace.
PRIVACY NOTICE: All personal data gathered in this survey will be processed for the sole purposes of the project within the KRAKEN consortium and not disclosed to any third party, and will be deleted by the end of the project (30/11/2022), in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – "General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)". You have the right to (i) access, rectify and correct your personal data; (ii) be forgotten, which means being deleted from our survey results; (iii) opt-out from our future messages in the scope of KRAKEN research.
