Transforming Community Safety in Minneapolis Question Title * 1. In June 2020, the Minneapolis City Council pledged to create a new model of community safety. As part of that, they committed to a yearlong process of community engagement. The engagement will ask the Minneapolis community what the new model should look like. This survey is one of the first steps in that process. To stay informed about future opportunities to be involved, please visit: https://www.minneapolismn.gov/community-safety/.The purpose of this survey is for members of the Minneapolis community to identify what safety looks like, and to provide ideas for how a new model can be accomplished. Results from this survey will be used to help create recommendations for elected leaders. This will also be used to help guide our next steps in our community engagement.Some of the questions may bring up sensitive topics. You can skip any question that you would like to skip or stop the survey at any time. You can find some information from the City about mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing here. Your privacy is important to us. What you provide in this survey will be shared with City of Minneapolis employees who are working on this engagement. You are not required to take this survey.
