The Indianola Hometown Pride Committee and Iowa Great Places planning group, in collaboration with City leaders, are developing a plan to create a two-block connection between the Simpson College and the Square on North Buxton between Ashland & Clinton. This community space would celebrate Indianola’s unique culture and history without closing streets, eliminating parking, or infringing on property owners. Our vision is to fill this area with arts and amenities which highlight our community and encourage people to visit. Funding would come from grants and donations. Answering three survey questions would greatly help the committee!
