Illinois Complete Streets Policy Survey

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) complete streets policy requires local communities to cover 20% of the cost when IDOT adds infrastructure for people walking and bicycling to construction projects on state roads. The Active Transportation Alliance is interested in learning what impact, if any, this policy has on pedestrian and bicycle projects on state roads.
