IDPE is committed to advancing and championing schools’ development. Benchmarking is central to this effort. IDPE’s regular benchmarking survey/report provides a comprehensive study of schools’ fundraising and engagement activity in the UK, highlighting emerging trends and best practice.

IDPE is undertaking a review of its benchmarking survey/report, to ensure this continues to meet the needs of development professionals and the wider schools’ sector.

In light of the current context in which schools are operating, we recognise that benchmarking is likely to become increasingly important in both evidencing the impact of schools' fundraising and engagement and in justifying the need for sustained (or increased) investment in development.

We also understand the importance of sharing best practices to enhance philanthropy and community engagement in schools, especially during these challenging times. Your insights and experiences can help create a richer, more effective resource for all schools.
