IDAHOBIT is marked each year on the 17 May around the globe and is commemorated as an International Day Against LGBTIQA+ Discrimination. Celebrating IDAHOBIT helps to raise awareness about the work required to combat discrimination and rights violations still experienced by LGBTIQA+ people on a day-to-day basis.
In 2024 Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health has again partnered with Macedon Ranges Shire Council and Hume City Council Economic Development Teams to encourage businesses and community organisations to get creative with dressing up their windows or foyers in rainbows.
Thanks for getting on board in 2024 and for celebrating IDAHOBIT!
