The Community Impact Award was created in 2015 to recognize individuals within the Iowa credit union movement who have demonstrated outstanding civic and charitable responsibility through volunteerism, advocacy or philanthropy in service toward community-based charitable causes. This award includes credit unions and community partners of the Iowa Credit Union Foundation (ICUF) who demonstrate the people helping people philosophy.

Entry Deadline: June 30, 2024
Eligibility for Award
Nominations for this award will be taken from anyone active in the credit union movement. The leadership of ICUF’s Board of Directors will judge nominations and present the award at ICUF’s Annual Benefit Night Fundraiser during the Iowa Credit Union Convention in September.

Judging Criteria
Nominations will be judged on the following criteria:
  • Demonstration of outstanding service and dedication toward community based or charitable causes.
  • Participation in organized activities or organizations that support the needs of the community or state.
  • Nominee has engaged their credit union or organization in community-based or charitable causes.
