Purpose of Survey - Developing the Consolidated Plan
Horry County recently started the process of developing the 2023-2027 Five-year Consolidated Plan (ConPlan). This plan is designed to assess affordable housing and community development needs to help us make data-driven decisions for the following federally funded programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and Emergency Shelter Grant Program (ESG).
Public input is a critical part of developing the ConPlan. By completing the short survey and participating in the process, you will help identify housing and community development priorities.
Note, the Horry County HOME Consortium (HCHC) assists the low-income and underserved areas of Georgetown, Horry, and Williamsburg Counties of South Carolina. HOME funds are utilized for the creation and retention of affordable housing throughout the tri-county Consortium service area.
