Hope Town Square Streetscape Improvements MSRP Project Survey

Following is a brief survey to determine the residential impact of streetscape improvements in the area of the Hope Town Square to include of 1082 feet of five feet wide accessible sidewalks with approximately 235 feet of six feet wide accessible sidewalks which will also provide vehicular access to the bandstand and the shelter house; two landing/sitting areas with paver surfacing held in place with concrete curbing, one at the west end of the shelter house and the other overlooking the bandstand providing additional hard surface area and connectivity; a graveled area at the west end of the shelter adjacent to the paver area where sidewalks intersect; replacement street lighting on the exterior and the interior of the Hope Town Square. The light poles are to include banner arms, planter hangers and GFI outlets. Site furnishings for the interior and/or the exterior of the square will include benches to replace existing theme benches, planters, trash receptacles for the exterior of the square (to match existing interior square receptacles) and cigarette butt containers. Wayfaring signage is also included within the square with one at the entry of the historic district. The flag pole may require replacement to assure the United States flag is properly lit when the street lights are replaced.
